Baihua Pavilion (Original Soundtrack)
The soundtrack opens with crisp percussion and the distinct voice of the Guzheng, blending modern production with traditional Chinese elements. Against a contemporary rhythmic backdrop, the Pipa and the Jinghu — the soul instrument of Beijing opera — come together to perform traditional pentatonic scales. The interweaving of old and new gives the entire piece a distinctly Chinese character.
